Young Adult fantasy novel

Traitor in the Realm is an adventure story of an unconventional family that gets trapped in a medieval kingdom on a world adjacent to Earth.
Two teens, Kallan and her foster brother Matthew, enter the kingdom of Kylemore on the world of Betherion, along with Matthew’s grandfather and find the kingdom in the midst of an attack by a traitor. If they are to return home, the three of them must prove their innocence and return to the portal to Earth before it closes forever.
